President Trump nominated Amy Coney Barrett for Supreme Court as investors are anxious to see a progress on renewed stimulus from Washington. The Dollar strengthening has halted currently . The live dollar index data show the ICE US Dollar index, a measure of the dollar’s strength against a basket of six rival currencies, rose 0.3% Friday as the Census Bureau reported orders for durable goods rose 0.4% on month in August, the fourth straight gain, when 1.1% increase was expected. Both GBP/USD and EUR/USD reversed their climbing Friday as the GfK consumer confidence index for UK slowed its decline in September. Both pairs are higher currently. Both yen and Australian dollar continued retreating against the greenback Friday with the dynamics reversed for both currently.

Oil prices ended down last session with Libyan output set to pick up after General Haftar moved to lift a blockade of ports that had virtually stopped production for the past eight months. The US oil benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures are lower currently after October WTI edged down 0.2% Friday. November Brent crude lost 0.05% to $41.92 a barrel on Friday.
