May 18 (Bloomberg) — Diane Swonk, chief economist at Mesirow Financial Inc., talks about the minutes of the April 26-27 meeting of the Federal Reserve’s policy-setting Federal Open Market Committee and the outlook for central bank monetary policy. Fed policy makers began to coalesce last month on a strategy to reverse record monetary stimulus by first ending their reinvestment policy and later raising interest rates and selling assets.
