MetroPCS closes out the list today with 4.5 times the average amount of calls as investors are betting on continued growth in the pre-paid wireless sector. Taking a look at the put side of the ledger, Medifast puts are at 9.5 times the average amount today after news that the company will delay the release of the fourth quarter and full year earnings. Aflac puts are close to 9 times their normal volume, as investors are fleeing from insurance stocks today. Rackspace Hosting puts are coming in at over 7 times the average amount today after a large bearish bet. ReneSola puts are just under 6 times the average as investors are bearish on the solar energy sector today. Finally, CurrencyShares Japanese Yen Trust puts are just over 5 times the average today as investors react to the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
