The way that it works is by taking a moving average and placing a band at the lower end of the average and a band at the upper end of the average. You get a buying or selling signal for the currency pair when the price action moves over either of the bands that have been established.
There are other forex indicators that you should understand in order to maximize your success in trading. If you use forex trending indicators, your profits will be more consistent.
