US Dollar net speculator positions leveled at $-1.91 billion as of Tuesday
The latest data for the weekly Commitment of Traders (COT) report, released by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) on Friday, showed that large traders and currency speculators reduced their bets for the US dollar for a fourth straight week and into an overall short position for the first time in approximately fourteen months. WTI Crude Oil Speculators push bullish bets to best level since April
The non-commercial contracts of WTI crude futures totaled a net position of 396,459 contracts, according to data from last week. This was a lift of 38,434 contracts from the previous weekly total. See full article
Gold Speculators edged bullish bets lower, down for 6th week
The large speculator contracts of gold futures totaled a net position of 60,138 contracts. This was a weekly decline of -122 contracts from the previous week. See full article
