As Round 1 of MultiBank’s 2018 Demo Competition came to a close last week, the top 3 performing participants were announced and the winners were invited to visit their local MultiBank branch to claim the cash prizes in person.
Coming in first place from Henan, China, was Mr. Wang Guoyun who managed to gain over 9,982% in equity over the course of the competition. From an initial capital of $50,000, Mr. Wang managed within 4 weeks to close at a whopping $5,041,071, over $1 million more than the second place winner.
Upon interviewing Mr. Wang, he shared many of his trading strategies and insights with us. He said that particularly important when trading forex is keeping a clear mental state and getting a grip on your emotions. He caught himself making trading mistakes at times, but said he over came these by clearing his mind, calming down and cut his losses before continuing on his strategies to maximize profits.
Mr. Wang has been a client with MultiBank Exchange Group for some time now, and has always had an interest in Forex trading. He has been following Forex news closely in recent years, and initially opened an account with MultiBank because of the advantageous bonus policies and their well-established reputation in the Chinese market. When asked about the competition, Mr. Wang states, “I’ve felt so excited since November last year when I signed up for the Demo Competition. I registered as soon as I found out about it, and thought it was a good opportunity for me to brush up on my trading skill and change my life.”
